The Snow Performance Stage 3 Boost Cooler system is an effective solution for water-methanol injection, specifically designed for vehicles with direct fuel injection (DI) and forced induction (turbocharging or supercharging).
Stage 3 uses a two-dimensional injection map based on readings from boost and fuel pressure sensors, allowing for ultra-precise dosing of the water-methanol mixture at the most critical moments of engine operation. By taking fuel pressure into account, the system can continue injection even beyond the set boost pressure, providing a wide range of tuning and stable operation.
The Stage 3 Boost Cooler controller is mounted on the steering column or dashboard, requiring no additional mounts or instrument modules. It combines:
- boost pressure sensor,
- water-methanol injection controller,
- fuel system monitoring.
Proven results:
- Lowers intake air temperature to -100°C.
- Increases octane rating by up to +25 points, allowing the engine to operate at full power with excellent cooling.
