Description
Etuners Parts ET625 — is a high-performance hybrid turbocharger, developed by Etuners Parts engineers from scratch based on the IS38 platform for transversely mounted engines EA888 Gen3. This model is designed for projects where significantly increased airflow, high power potential, and stable operation at high boost levels are required.
The design features a billet compressor wheel with a 7+7 blade configuration, providing high airflow and efficient compressor operation across a wide range of RPMs. The compressor housing is precisely machined on CNC equipment for optimal clearance and accurate matching to the geometry of the new wheel.
On the turbine side, a lightweight turbine wheel with 9 blades is used, which ensures improved exhaust gas flow and reduces back pressure in the system. This allows the turbine to operate stably under high loads and maintain a high level of efficiency even in extreme conditions.
The design incorporates a ball bearing cartridge (Ball Bearing CHRA), which reduces friction and rotor inertia. This ensures quick turbine response, stable operation at high RPMs, and increased reliability under intensive use.
Each turbocharger undergoes multi-stage balancing. First, the individual rotating elements are balanced, after which the assembled cartridge undergoes high-speed VSR balancing, ensuring stable and durable turbine operation.
As a result, a hybrid turbocharger with a high performance margin is obtained, designed for serious projects where powerful top-end delivery, stable operation under load, and reliability at high boost are important. Rated power — up to 700 hp.
